neither of us would

it was the other's

i got a cloth

the next time
it happened,
it stayed there

but in the end
i did, of course.
and so it went on:
you blotted, i cleaned.
i blotted, i cleaned.
we both blotted, i cleaned.

i refuse.
you blotted, you clean.

Etty stopped running and looked around her. The ornate hallways all looked the same and she wasn't sure she'd even been down this part of the house before. Sighing, she pushed open a door, hoping that it could be her room, but it wasn't. She stepped inside anyways, looking around at the room. It was painted a lovely pale blue colour, with large windows. There was a low couch in the corner and a pretty embroidered blanket lay over it. A bookshelf was next to the couch, with several brightly coloured tomes on the shelves. The whole room was simple, yet elegant. Etty looked around at it sadly, then down at her own tattered and muddy clothing. T
I'm going to be blunt with you. The next few years are not going to be good. Everything you do will be a mistake, pretty much. But I'm not here to tell you what you're doing wrong. I'm here to tell you that no matter what, you will make it through. You're strong, little one, take it from me.
You may seem like a fish out of water right now - everyone else is growing up and you're, well, not. Everyone is telling you to be yourself, but you can hardly do that when 'yourself' isn't liked, can you? Yes, you can, actually. It took you four years to learn that, but eventually you stopped trying so hard and just realised that if people don't like y
Lift the old, dusty lid, displaying yellowed keys underneath.
Play one tentatively, listening to the gentle plonk of the strings.
And then, begin.
It starts silently, with smooth chords pressing down.
They flow against each other, like waves across the sea.
The stiff pedal loosens, and the room is filled with sound.
The music swells and grows,
getting louder and louder,
filled with urgency,
sweeping everyone along with it,
till the last note is played
and the room is filled with the notes,
joyous and harmonious,
forever echoing in the dark.
Lift the smooth polished lid, displaying bright white keys underneath.

It's been a while since I've been on here properly and I apologise. And thank anybody who has watched me or added some of my photos to their favourites.
I'm trying to juggle relaxation, school and other things all at once and so dA has taken a backseat for a few months.
Hopefully I'll be able to get back into the swing of things and maybe even post some photos. :)

Making a journal entry just for the heeck of it . . . It's not like anyone reads it, haha.
Don't you just hate it when it's winter and really cold, but the sun's shining and there's a blue sky? It feels like something's gone wrong o.O
Makes for some nice photos though.
